Its PVC tarpaulin is built to resist punctures, and the seams are welded rather than stitched, so a wet drysuit inside or a soaking on the quay outside makes no difference to what is in the bag. The roll-down top seals with side-release fastenings, and the wide mouth means bulky neoprene goes in without a fight. A compression valve and straps let you squeeze out air when the bag is only part full.

It also makes a good home for kit off the water, keeping a full set of sailing gear together and dry in the garage or a club locker between sessions. When it is fully loaded it gets heavy, so use the rubber grab handles at each end and share the lift.
