The Gill Voyager Duffel Dry Bag 30L swallows the lot, then rolls shut so none of it leaks into the car on the drive home. On the way there it does the opposite job, keeping your dry kit, towel and phone dry in the dinghy park or a rib.

The bag is made from puncture-resistant PVC tarpaulin with welded seams rather than stitching, so there are no needle holes for water to creep through. The top rolls down and fastens with Velcro and side-release clips, and the wide mouth makes it easy to stuff a wetsuit in without a fight. Squeeze out spare air through the compression valve, cinch the straps, and the squared shape packs neatly into a car boot or a club locker.

At 30 litres it is sized for a day of dinghy kit rather than a week away, which keeps it light at 890g and easy to carry from the car to the boat on the padded shoulder strap. Rubber grab handles at each end make it simple to lift in and out of the boot.
