New Dinghy Sailing Clothing FAQs
How often do you add new dinghy sailing clothing?
Most weeks through the season, with the biggest drops in late winter when the brands release the year's ranges, and smaller top ups through the summer. Everything is listed here on the day it arrives. If something you want is missing, it is usually on its way, so check back or ask us when it is due.
When a product gets a new version, should I buy it or the old one?
Buy the old one if it is still in stock and the fit works for you. Most updates to dinghy kit are small: a new colour, a tweak to a strap or a panel. We only steer you to the new version when it fixes something we found wrong with the old one, and we say so on the product page. Older versions often end up in clearance, which is a good place to look.
What new kit should I look at before winter?
Start with what goes under and over your wetsuit, because that is what keeps you sailing in cold months. A warm layer for your top half, thicker socks and a spray top that keeps the wind off will do more than a new suit. See what we would put under a suit in base layers.
Why is my size sold out on something new?
Because new lines often reach us a few sizes at a time, with the rest following a week or two later. If your size shows as sold out on a new product, email us and we will tell you when it is due rather than leaving you guessing.
Can I get new kit before the weekend?
Yes. Order by 2pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. If a new product does not fit or feel right once it arrives, you have 90 days to send it back. If you are not sure what to choose, what other sailors are buying is a safe place to start.
